Disco Beebots

We have been working on our computational thinking with Beebots.

Have you used Beebots before? Do you know how to make them move? We used them in class on these grids on the floor and programmed them to move.

We had fun having a Disco with our Beebots.

I enjoyed when the bee bots were dancing together. It was amazing how the two on the left were staying together.
It reminds me about when I was watching a TV show about bee-bot racing.
Maybe next time you can try and start the beebots at the same time so they stay together like the ones on the right. They were sort of together and sort of not but the ones on the left stayed together.
Are beebots fun to play with? I've never used one so maybe I should t

I really liked how the two on the left did the same moves and my favourite part was when they bumped into each other. I have never seen them before. How did you make them dance?
I really liked how you dressed them up. Did you dress them up in paper?
Maybe next time you could put sun glass’s on them.
Did you do do anything else with the beebots.

  4. I like how you made the bee bots move around.
I did not know about bee bots until now.
Maybe next time if you could start them at the same time they might move together at the same time.
What was it like watching them move for the first time?

I really like how you guys decorated the bee bots with the feathers.
This reminded me of when we played this song at our school disco.
Maybe if you had spread them out more, they might not have crashed.
Did you make the bee bots move by yourself or did you work with a buddy?

I really like your beebot. Some robots crashed into each other. Your robots are really realistic. I also liked the color of your beebot.
I love the way you built it. You are a great worker and the robots go around in circles.
Next time to make it even better next time but making them all in time together..
Do you like what you created?

The bee bots are so cool how did you make it do all the moves.
I noticed you dressed them up.
Why did you make them have a disco?

I liked the way you made the bee bots stay in time with each other.
We had that song at our school disco.
Maybe if you give the bee bots some more room so they don't crash into each other.
How did you make them move at the same time?

I loved the way the two bee bots on the left were in time together. I thought it was awesome seeing them go in time. I have never seen beebots before! Mrs Torrie our Manaiakalani teacher told us that she sometimes does Maniakalani at your school as well.
I thought that the bee bots in time were amazing. I would love to play with a bee bot if I could.
Maybe it would be a little bit better if they all went at the same time.
How long did it take you to make them work like that?

I like the beebots you made and I like the choice of music that the beebots danced to.
The beebots on the left were dancing to the same beat which was really interesting to watch.
Maybe next time you could use different music and different dress ups.
How hard was it to control them?
